What we learn from the champions league yesterday

1.  Jorge Sampaoli can forget about Barca now

Forget the penalty misses and how well they played in the first leg, Sevilla for how they have been playing since the beginning of the season have chosen a bad time to have a dip in form and this will be a source of great concern for whoever is courting him. A manager whose side got ousted by a relegation threatened team is not a fit for a team of Barcelona status and they will think twice before handling him the deal.

2.   Juventus are unbeatable at home

Going  full two years without losing atbhome both in the Champions league and a league as strong as Series A is no mean feat. Kudos must be given to Allegri. They not only play great football but are also bearing team with their compact style of play. Write Juventus off at  your own peril.
Juventus have not lost a                          competitive home game in any                 competition since 23rd August,                2015: 46 games 40 wins 6 draws

3.    Kasper Schmeichel is threading his Father's path

Kasper Schmeichel is a son to Manchester united hero in the 1999 champions league final, Peter Schmeichel. It's not often we see a son who take up his father's mantle and be as good as he us especially if the said child is a goalkeeper but Kasper is proving us all wrong. Despite Leicester City playing badly he's their only shunning light so far this season, this was affirmed last night when he saved Steve Nzonzi's penalty. If Leicester City got farther than this, expect him to play a huge part in their success.

Kasper Schmeichel at home in the          Champions League this season: 3             games 10 saves 1 penalty saved 0
    goals conceded Heroic                                   performances.
